Cheap people

Guys that take you for a coffee on your first date and then ask you to split the bill

No Dinner For You

After talking on-line to someone who I thought was a gentleman I agreed to meet up and go on a date with him. We met at a nice restaurant and when he arrived I was happy to see that he did look like his profile photo.

Not more than 2 minutes after sitting down he says, "just so you know the last two girls I did this with I had to drop $100 each on them for dinner and I am not doing that again, but I'll buy you a drink." Now I know dating can be expensive for the guy and I am not one of those girls who is looking for a lobster dinner...but maybe share an appetizer. Anyway who actually says that to a girl?

You know what...I had that one free drink (because after that comment I needed it) and I was outta there.

Three's A Crowd

I was anxiously waiting for the guy I had a crush on to pick me up for our first date. He shows up with his son, whom I never knew about, and proceeds to take us to Chuck E. Cheese.

Overdressed

Today for my birthday my boyfriend dressed up in a tux and told me he was taking me on a surprise date. He wouldn't tell me where we were going... we ended up at McDonalds.

What's Good For The Goose, Isn't Good For The Gander

I went on a first date with a guy I met at a speed dating event. He recommended the lamb shank, which I proceeded to order without looking at the menu. When the waiter took my order, my date said, "wait, the lamb is $27, why don't you get the chicken". He then ordered the lamb for himself.

Adding Insult To Injury

My boyfriend suggested taking me to a movie after weeks of not seeing me. This long awaited date involved me paying for food and my movie ticket when he ran out of cash, again!

He then dumped me as we left the theater while walking to his car. I financed my own breakup date, and took a taxi home.

Dating At College

Some random guy just offered to pay for my meal at the dining hall using an extra chit that he has. Is this as good as it gets for college dating... sheesh?
