I used to like dating older men, until this experience. I am in my early thirties and had enjoyed the company of guys in the late 50's to early 60's.

I arranged to meet this guy for drinks at his yacht club. He was older, even by my standards, but a good looking guy who seemed to be in great shape... he was 63 if I recall correctly.

Ten minutes into the date he started complaining of chest pains; he thought is was heartburn. Five minutes after that he suddenly collapsed in a clump on the floor. When the paramedics arrived they pronounced him dead on the spot. He'd had a massive coronary.

Well that was awkward!

These days I stick with guys under 50.
