I Don't Think She Was Quite Ready To Start Dating Again
I met this nice down to earth girl at Indigo and started chatting with her. She was very friendly and had a very bubbly personality.
I managed to get her number and we made lunch plans for later that week. Five minutes into lunch she mentioned her recent breakup... 3 weeks earlier.
Five minutes after that she brought it up again and then insisted she was ready to move on with her life.
Five minutes after that she was sobbing in front of me about being dumped. Talk about awkward! It's a good thing the restaurant had fast service... I was itching to get out of there.
The worst part is she keeps calling and leaving messages.

Huge red flag my friend. If
Huge red flag my friend. If someone can not relax, and enjoy the other person's company (and truely get to know one another) why bother, they're not dating material in the least. Basically you saved yourself from being the infamous "re-bound" guy. You saved yourself from hours upon hours of counselling and mending a broken heart... only to be cheating on (and I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark) by her, with her ex.
Were you?
Oh come on. So a girl cries because her boyfriend left her 3 weeks ago, big deal. Give or take a couple of days and most likely she would have been completely over it.
Ya know, this is like the first time I've seen a guy reject a girl for the smallest things. It's usually the other way around.
