It's All in the Details

I met a guy from Adult Friend Finder and we'd been chatting for about a week. He was a little younger than I normally date so I was cautious but tried to keep an open mind.

We made a date to meet one night at a local coffee shop. He didn't like the shop but I explained that we could meet there and then go elsewhere if he liked. However, I was adamant that I was going to meet him in public for our first date. He kept asking if I'd go for a walk or sit with him in his car. I explained again that I was not going to go with him in private, that our first meeting had to be in public and only if it went well would I agree to see him in private.

He went on to ask specifically what we would do, should the date go well. I said I didn't know as I hadn't met him yet and didn't know how things would go. He asked me in many different ways, some subtle and some not so subtle, if we'd have sex. I said clearly I didn't know.

I went to the coffee shop to meet him at the agreed time and he didn't show. Later he came online and explained that it was my fault he didn't show. If I had simply given him details on how our date would go and what we would do he'd have shown up. I said to him that the point wasn't whether I'd given details or not. The point was that he had an entire week to put a stop to things or could have even told me that evening that he'd changed his mind. However, to stand me up was the lowest thing he could do. He was still sticking to his story that it was my fault. So I told him to take a welding torch, stick it up his bottom and turn it on.

I haven't heard back from him since.
