What The Hell Are You Doing Here???

My boyfriend and I were having a lot of trouble with our relationship so we agreed to see other people... well ok, he agreed for both of us.

Anyway, I decided to give eHarmony a whirl. After about 6 weeks I weeded out several guys and ended up arranging a date with the one guy I seemed compatible with.

I walked into Starbucks excited about my date, when there low and behold was my ex buying a coffee. "What the hell are you doing here," I asked?

"I'm here on a date he exclaimed, what about you?" I didn't want to own up to being on eHarmony so I said I was just grabbing a coffee and leaving.

Nymphomaniac.... Sounded Good, At First

I started dating this girl a while back that I met in the Lavalife adult section. She explained in her bio that she was a nymphomaniac and needed an understanding and supportive guy. She went on to say that her guy probably couldn't completely satisfy her habit.

I have a high sex drive and enjoy getting horizontal pretty much every day. I thought this was going to be a match made in heaven.

Anyway... things definitely worked between us at first. We would meet and make love every day. She would wake me up in the middle of the night for quickies, and then we'd bang again in the morning. We'd make "lunch" plans which ended with us screwing in my car behind a condemned building.

All in all we were having sex an average of about 5-6 times a day... we were both loving it!

Monogamous Dater

It started out innocently enough…I placed a personal ad, I met a guy who seemed real nice. I fell in love and we dated for over a year. Then one day I was pursing the ads for a friend, and discovered that his personal ad was active. It had been active the WHOLE time we were dating, even after we agreed to be monogamous.

He claimed that it was carelessness, but admitted that he had received inquiries from other women. I dumped him right then, and it'll be really hard to trust anyone I meet online again. The moral of the story--do not assume that your partner has taken down their personal ad after you agree to date exclusively. Make sure that it's gone, or you might get really hurt later down the road.

What's Good for the Goose....

I had been chatting with this guy online for a couple of days and we agreed to meet. I'd told him that I wasn't looking for a relationship and that monogamy wasn't my thing.

The day before we were supposed to meet he sends me an e-mail saying that if we were together he wouldn't want me seeing anyone else so he wouldn't have to use a condom when we had sex. Oh, but it'd be okay if he saw other people.

Needless to say, we're not meeting now.

Betting On Love

Back when my husband was courting me we worked together in a law firm. He was a little shy to ask my out so he stole a bit from Seinfeld.

He bet me a free dinner that Dustin Hoffman was the lead in Braveheart. I fell for it hook line and sinker. It was kind of sneaky but also kind of romantic. I didn't find out until months later where he came up with the idea while watching that particular episode together one night.

We both laughed hysterically.

We're together to this day.

My Creepy Grade Nine Teacher

I had just started first year of University and while my school was in the town I lived in I had kind of lost touch with my old friends and was feeling lonely.

I had no money for internet dating so I placed an ad on Craigslist. Sure enough my very cute and wholesome ad brought all kinds of creeps out of the woodwork.

One guy, who was quite a bit older, seemed kind of nice so I emailed him back. After three or four emails things started to get kind of sexual. This wasn't normal for me but I figured I'd play along a little. After several more of these messages he sent me an solicited dirty photo of himself.

It was totally gross, and he had a tiny penis. As I looked closer at his face I suddenly realized he was my grade 9 history teacher, yuck! I emailed it to my old high-school anonymously.

I never saw anything in the news so I guess he was able to do some quick talking ;-)
